Well, im back home in Southern California. Schooling at the LDS Business College is officially complete & so I also came home with a Associates Degree In General Studies.
The Adjustment to home was not as easy as i hoped, finding a job was the hardest part..making new friends or more friends is even harder.
I left my life in Utah, my friends, my experiences, my moments of growth & who i was when i first got there. But i know because i was blessed enough to have that opportunity, i can now take it with me in my heart where so ever i may go in this world & know, that i did my best & i love who i am now.
But now, i have seemed to found my place again. I work at Monoprice.com with the best co workers you could ever ask for* I worked there in the summer when i needed to come home due to my circumstances. I worked in the werehouse as a packer, before the machines came in where it now does a lot of the work for them, we would stand there for 8 hours a day finding boxes to match the size of the order & pack it. yea, i got a crap load of calluses -.- aha it was way hard work, & almost all of the people i worked with were Hispanic & Spanish speaking. For most of them, spanish was their first language & they came over to America for a better life for their families. Hispanic people are the most hardworking people i know.
This job was 40 hours a week for 10 bucks an hour, for most of them this was what they did for a living.
what they did to bring food on the table
to pay bills
to provide for their family
there was people who worked there my age & already had children but werent married, there were mothers & fathers & working with them, made me very humble & grateful to know i had an education waiting for me back in utah when i returned.
The Blessings of education ARE REAL!!
I now attend the Deer Creek YSA ward. & my calling is part of the Volleyball Committe..who knew right?lol -.-
its a great ward, im just now trying to still find my place in this ward.
42nd University ward will always be my home<3
well, this is all i can think of for now that you would actually care about reading.lol
so until next time
keep it real.
